A Simple Act

Given the continuing difficulty for Congress to provide meaningful health care reform, we call upon the states to take the leadership role in this effort by passing the following measure.

US Constitution 28th Amendment

Congress shall make no law prohibiting the states from enacting legislation to provide for the medical well being of their citizens, nor abridge the freedom of the states from acting individually or in concert with other states to negotiate the fees for medical services, medicines, or medical devices. Where such laws exits, they are superseded by this amendment.
